看那個(gè)大煙囪！我爸爸小時(shí)候就住在煙囪下面。每次我經(jīng)過的時(shí)候，都會(huì)被那些承載著時(shí)代記憶的建筑所深深吸引，就像坐上了時(shí)光機(jī)一樣。

大家好，我是駱蕓熙?，F(xiàn)在，我們所在的地方是上海當(dāng)代藝術(shù)博物館，這個(gè)煙囪是當(dāng)代藝術(shù)博物館的一部分。博物館的前身是1897年建成的南市發(fā)電廠，它坐落在上海黃浦江畔。高達(dá)165米的煙囪，已經(jīng)成為了上海的城市地標(biāo)。

在我爸爸生活的那個(gè)年代，這里經(jīng)常起霧，因?yàn)榘l(fā)電廠燒煤。為配合2010年上海世博會(huì)園區(qū)建設(shè)，老電廠變身中國首個(gè)三星級綠色建筑——未來城市館?，F(xiàn)在這個(gè)煙囪是世界上最大的溫度計(jì)，也是世界上最高的天氣信號塔。

上海一直致力于創(chuàng)造更友好的居住環(huán)境。作為年輕一代，城市的未來掌握在我們手中。讓我們努力學(xué)習(xí)，建設(shè)一個(gè)更好的上海。

look at that huge chimney! my dad lived right under it when he was a kid. every time we pass by, i like to see old things from my parents’ generation. it’s like taking a time machine.

hello everyone, i am royce. now, we are at the power station of art. the chimney is a part of the power station of art! it’s renovated from the former nanshi power plant built in 1897. standing tall by the huangpu river, the 165-meter chimney has become an integral part of shanghai’s world-famous skyline.

but back when my dad was living here, it was foggy all the time, due to the burning coal. to cooperate with the construction of the shanghai world expo 2010 campus, nanshi power plant transformed into china’s first three-star green building: pavilion of future. now the chimney is the world's largest thermometer, as well as the world's highest weather signal tower.

shanghai has always been focusing on creating more resident-friendly environment. as the younger generation, the city’s future is in our hands. let’s study hard to build a better shanghai.
